Positive control siPOOLs are validated siPOOLs that produce defined characteristics when introduced into cells, and are recommended to confirm successful transfection.
Rescue sequences are used for secondary validation of siPOOL-mediated gene knock-down.
Rescue sequences are codon-optimized, siPOOL-resistant target gene sequences that can be synthesized and expressed in your choice system to “rescue” the phenotype afflicted by the siPOOL. This is performed for further validation of gene function. Please note that only the sequence is provided and gene synthesis is not included.
