Equus caballus intact and degraded RNA
rRNA depletion kit
Efficient ribodepletion for horse intact and degraded RNA
The Equus caballus intact and degraded RNA riboPOOL is optimized for efficient removal of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from both degraded and intact Equus caballus (horse) RNA samples, including those derived from FFPE tissue.
Designed to cover the entire rRNA sequence, it is particularly effective for use with degraded RNA (RIN < 7) , but is also compatible with high-quality RNA.
The Equus caballus intact and degraded RNA riboPOOL covers the following sequences:
| Sequence | Type | Covered |
|---|---|---|
| 28S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 18S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 5.8S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 5S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 12S rRNA | Mitochondrial | Yes |
| 16S rRNA | Mitochondrial | Yes |
Equus caballus, commonly known as the domestic horse, has been an integral part of human history and culture for thousands of years. Genome analyses help identify and understand genetic variations that contribute to traits such as coat color, size, and susceptibility to certain diseases.
