Saccharomyces cerevisiae intact and degraded RNA
rRNA depletion kit
Removes rRNA from Saccharomyces cerevisiae intact and degraded RNA
The Saccharomyces cerevisiae intact and degraded RNA riboPOOL is optimized for efficient removal of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from both degraded and intact Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) RNA samples, including those derived from FFPE tissue.
Designed to cover the entire rRNA sequence, it is particularly effective for use with degraded RNA (RIN < 7), but is also comparible with high-quality RNA.
If you are working exclusively with intact RNA samples (RNA > 7), we recommend the Saccharomyces cerevisiae riboPOOL for optimal performance.

|---|---|---|
| 28S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 18S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 5.8S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 5S rRNA | Cytoplasmic | Yes |
| 16S rRNA | Mitochondrial | No |
| 12S rRNA | Mitochondrial | No |
Saccharomyces cerevisiae, commonly known as baker's yeast, is a unicellular fungus extensively studied due to its role in fermentation. Moreover, its simple genetics and ease of manipulation make it an ideal model organism for studying fundamental biological processes, including cell division, metabolism, and genetics.
