Clam riboPOOL

The Clam riboPOOL is designed to efficiently deplete ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from Loripes orbiculatus and Lucinoma aequizonata RNA samples. The product is compatible with most downstream applications, including different next generation sequencing workflows (both short and long-read sequencing).

The Clam riboPOOL is optimized for high-quality and intact (RIN > 7) RNA samples.

Loripes orbiculatus and Lucinoma aequizonata are two species of bivalve mollusks, commonly known as orbiculate nut clams and egg cockles, respectively. These clams are recognized for their ability to burrow into sandy or muddy substrates, playing a crucial role in marine ecosystems by contributing to sediment nutrient cycling and serving as a food source.
