Saccharomyces cerevisiae riboPOOL for degraded RNA
The Saccharomyces cerevisiae degraded RNA riboPOOL is designed to efficiently deplete ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) FFPE or degraded RNA samples.
FFPE/degraded riboPOOLs cover the entire rRNA sequence and are designed for heavily degraded RNA samples, with RIN values below 6.
For high-quality and intact (RIN > 7) RNA samples, see Saccharomyces cerevisiae riboPOOL.

16S rRNA | Mitochondrial | No |
12S rRNA | Mitochondrial | No |
Saccharomyces cerevisiae, commonly known as baker's yeast, is a unicellular fungus extensively studied due to its role in fermentation. Moreover, its simple genetics and ease of manipulation make it an ideal model organism for studying fundamental biological processes, including cell division, metabolism, and genetics.
