Pan-Mammal
rRNA depletion kits
Efficient ribodepletion for mammals
The Pan-Mammal riboPOOL is designed to efficiently remove ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from mammal RNA samples. The product is compatible with most downstream applications, including different next generation sequencing workflows (both short and long-read sequencing).
Available riboPOOL products and their recommended applications:
| Product | Input RNA Quality | Input RNA | Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pan riboPOOL | High Quality (RIN>7) | 10 ng- 3 µg | Standard RNA-seq |
| Pan High Input riboPOOL | High Quality (RIN>7) | 5 µg - 30 µg | Standard RNA-seq |
Mammals are a diverse class of warm-blooded vertebrates. They are widely used in research due to their physiological, genetic, and behavioral similarities to humans.

Performance
The Pan-Mammal riboPOOL consistently removes > 90% of rRNA from total RNA samples originating from different mammalian species.

Pan-Mammal Taxonomic Coverage
The Pan-Mammal riboPOOL is designed for efficient ribodepletion in mammals (class Mammalia). Pan-Mammal riboPOOL probes have been mapped against rRNA sequences of 75 mammal species to ensure uniform coverage across the phylum.
