Gene Silencing of RBPs

The RBP siPOOL Library includes siRNA pools specifically designed to target key RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) involved in essential RNA regulatory processes such as splicing, stability, transport, and translation.

Our siPOOL technology ensures reliable and reproducible gene silencing using complex pools of 30 carefully designed siRNAs per target gene. This approach minimizes off-target effects while delivering a robust knockdown, making it the ideal tool for RNAi screening of RBP genes.

RBP siRNA library efficiency

Our siPOOLs guarantee at least 70% gene knockdown, delivering reliable and efficient results for your RNAi experiments.

More than 93% of RBP siPOOLs reduced target gene expression by at least >70% (150 out of 162) and more than 62% reduced target gene expression by at least 85% (Fig. 1).

The RBP siPOOL library is ideal for:

  • High-throughput RNAi screening.
  • Investigating RBP functions in cellular processes.
  • Understanding RBP involvement in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and other RNA-related pathologies.

Figure 1.161 randomly selected RBP siPOOLs were tested. Target mRNA levels were measured by qRT-PCR 24 hr after transfection at 3 nM in standard cell lines (A549, RPE1, HeLa, MCF7).

RBP siPOOL library features & benefits

  • Minimize off-targets: By diluting each siRNA to picomolar concentration.
  • Reliable Performance: a complex pool of siRNAs includes more highly efficient siRNAs.
  • Flexible Formats: Library available in customizable layouts, including 96 and 384-well plates, pick and choose your controls.
